Chessie Kopyscianski

Chessie is the Trainer/Instructor/Barn Manager at Lucky 12 Equine. She has been riding horses since she was eight years old. As a youth rider, she learned hands-on horsemanship from trainer David Ross, who studied the training theories of John Lyons. In 2005, she and her horse Top Billing Blues lead several contest/speed events in the APHA and went on to place 8th at the APHA World Show that year. She and Top Billing Blues (Baby) have multiple National APHA and Ohio Paint Horse Association Championships to their credit. Growing up around horses and working in the equine industry at such a young age afforded her many opportunities to learn horsemanship from a diverse array of trainers in several disciplines. Chessie committed early in life to make her love of horses her career. In 2011 she attended Meredith Manor Equestrian Centre where as one of the top riders in her class, she received her Riding Master V & Training Level II and completed teaching courses. Chessie has also worked for accomplished NRHA trainers learning the skills associated with Reining. Using the skills, knowledge and education she has acquired, she is developing her own set of natural horsemanship methods and theories.
